The Law Offices of Buzzell, Welsh & Hill
Founded in 1998, the law office of Buzzell, Welsh & Hill focuses on quality representation through personalized support. Our office is based in Macon, Georgia and brings over 90 years of experience to the table. Our attorneys are active in the Middle Georgia law community, serving as past presidents of the Macon Bar Association and active members of the local and state Bar and Trial Lawyers Associations.
One of the biggest hesitations that people have about hiring a lawyer is money. At Buzzell, Welsh & Hill, there are no upfront fees. We run on a contingency fee agreement, which is where we only get paid once you receive compensation.
Deciding to file a personal injury claim can be an emotional and stressful decision. A lot of the time, people are saying it’s your fault, even when you know that it wasn’t. The first people who contact you are usually people that don’t have your best interest at heart, like insurance companies. This is one of the many reasons why it’s crucial to have an experienced attorney on your side. It’s also common for investigating officers, especially on motor vehicle cases, to make errors in reporting. We’re here to listen and tell your side of the story.
Don’t ever feel like you are locked into one person’s opinion. This is your case. Even if you are already working with another attorney, we are happy to review your case so that you feel confident in your decisions.
We understand that it can sometimes be hard to make ends meet while you’re waiting for your settlement. Unfortunately, there’s not much anyone can do until your case is resolved. Always think that a quick settlement is inadequate and work with an attorney who can help you reach the settlement you deserve. We know that it’s difficult to be patient, but we think you’ll like the results produced by having a BWH attorney on your side.
We also realize that your accident may have left you disabled for the rest of your life. This is where a Life Care Plan comes into play. A Life Care Plan covers everything from altered vehicles to rehabilitation specialists, and even magazine subscriptions. Your injury could affect your budget, job and daily life. Our office is prepared to help you make those adjustments.

Q: How much do I have to pay for your services upfront?
A: Nothing upfront! BWH advances most costs and only gets paid their attorney’s fees when you receive compensation. This is customarily referred to as a contingency fee arrangement.
Q: Everyone is saying it’s my fault, but they are wrong. How come no one is listening to my side of the story?
A: In many job, car, or other accidents, the first people who contact you – like insurance companies – may be more focused on protecting their interests than yours. That’s why you should contact a BWH attorney. Also, many investigating officers make errors in preparing motor vehicle accident reports.
Q: Can I get a second opinion?
A: Yes! You have the right to get a second opinion, even if you are already represented by another lawyer. Then you can make an informed decision. It never hurts to ask a BWH attorney to review your case.
Q: How do I make ends meet while I’m waiting on my settlement?
A: Unfortunately, until your case is resolved there’s not much help available. At BWH, we want you to understand this now rather than being surprised later. Always question a quick settlement offer as being inadequate, and let BWH show everyone that you are serious about getting fair compensation.
Q: I’ll be disabled for the rest of my life. What do I do now?
A: It’s time to get something called a Life Care Plan. It covers everything from specially trained rehabilitation specialists to altered vehicles and even magazine subscriptions. Your injury may change your life, so you should plan for changes to your budget and job.
Q: I have other questions. How do I get in touch?
