2019 College Scholarship Program
At Buzzell, Welsh & Hill, we know how difficult it can be to afford an education after high school. We also know how important it is to continue your education. We are pleased to offer our $2,500 scholarship contest so that we can help the next generation of college and technical school students bring their academic and professional goals to life. We look forward to awarding this scholarship to one student each year.
Congratulations to our 2019 College Scholarship Program winner, Adrian Robert Thomas Jr.!
Please join us in congratulating our 2019 College Scholarship Program winner, Adrian Thomas, Jr.!
Adrian is a third-year student at The University of Georgia where he is pursuing a marketing degree from the Terry College of Business. Previously, he graduated from Twiggs County High School in 2017 as the class valedictorian. Adrian is the second person in his family to attend college.
When asked to describe himself, Adrian says he is a friendly, humble, and original individual who greatly values family and friendships. His motto is Live life to the fullest. “Life only happens once,” he says, “and if you want to be truly happy, you cannot dwell on past failures and you cannot put all your focus on the future. You must focus on living fully in the present, which is the way I want to live my life.”
