A native of Sylvester, GA, a small community near Albany, Mr. Langley has known since middle school that he wanted to eventually become an attorney. While studying political science at the University of Georgia, his classwork confirmed his career choice, and he found himself gravitating to courses covering the judicial process, constitutional law, business law and environmental law.
After graduating from the University of Georgia, Mr. Langley attended Mercer Law School, choosing the Macon institution for its smaller class sizes and scholarship opportunities. There, he was president of the Student Bar Association and vice president of Phi Delta Phi, a legal honor society.
While earning his Juris Doctor, Mr. Langley gained practical experience through internships with the Superior Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Office of Legal Counsel for the Department of Human Services in St. Croix. Both opportunities provided him with the chance to advocate on behalf of clients, preparing him for the work he does today.
In his studies, Mr. Langley focused on tort law, cases involving negligence or intentional harm. This, combined with his interest in helping clients in-person, not just from behind a desk, made personal injury a natural fit. After connecting to several Buzzell, Welsh & Hill attorneys at a Macon Bar golf tournament and, later, a Mercer tailgate, he joined the firm as a law clerk. Enjoying the work and the team, he came on as an attorney in 2018 with a focus on plaintiff’s trial practice.
Mr. Langley likes living in downtown Macon, just minutes from the office. When he’s not working, he heads outdoors as often as possible, enjoying golfing, fishing and Georgia football. He’s a member of Northway Church and participates in the young professionals bible study.
